Hi,
This is my first time trying to set up dual monitors and it just doesn't seem to be working too well.
System specs:
Leadtek Winfast A280le(geforce 4 ti)
Windows 2000
19" Samsung monitor
17" Viewmate monitor
The problem is I start it up and both monitors are on showing windows start up, however when windows finally starts up either the secondary monitor does not show up, or if I change the resolution and refresh rate to something that can be displayed on the second monitor(viewmate) then it shows up but as a mirror image.
When I go to properities only one monitor shows up in setting and unable to change to extended desktrop and different settings for each.
Not sure why it doesn't recognize two monitors, any help would be appreciated.

Make sure you have SP3 or SP4 installed for Windows 2000, and also make sure you have recent NVidia drivers installed (I use 41.09 drivers due to hibernate problems I have with newer drivers).

That is pretty much a given Eric, I have it all.
I think I read somewhere down on this forum that it's just a bug with certain cards and Win 2000, only thing left to do is sit and wait.
