This is my setup:
Computer room: Three screens Soundcard 1
Movie Room: Projector Soundcard 2
I have set up UltraMon with hotkeys to set up the screens properly when I move between computer room and movie room, but I would also like to set up the sound cards with those hotkeys.
As it is now, I have to go into control panel -> Sounds and Audio devices, and then change default device in the audio tab (this is in Windows XP).
Is there someway to script the change of primary sound card, so I can do it with the hotkeys?
A feature request would be to be able to chose a sound card as part of the UltraMon Display profile.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it for a future release. Probably would be implemented in an UltraMon add-on instead of in UltraMon itself though.

Does anyone know of a way to change default sound card from the command line, or via a script, etc? If that was possible I could use the UltraMon feature to run a program/script.

I think that the easiest way is to use a specific software for each monitor/soundcard.
ie: - WMP9 for monitor1/soundcard1
- Media Player Classic (or ZOOM player) configured for monitor2/soundcard2
That's what I do here through MYHTPC and the result is fine.
