The Matrox Parhelia can play some games such as UT2K3 and flight sim 03 on three monitors thru both of it's outputs right? (1st output runs 1 monitor, 2nd output runs 2). My question is would i be able to play games on 3 monitors using 3 graphics cards instead. I was thinking of using an agp 9800 (havent decided what model yet) and 2 of these Radeon 9200 SE PCI graphics cards http://www.visiontek.com/9200_PCI.html
coupled with 3 LCD monitors.
Am i right in thinking that the parhelia would struggle a bit to generate the picture for 3 monitors at once and this way would be more effective? Also hopefully the PCI and AGP cards wlll have DVI output's for better clarity on LCD's, im sure the second output on the Parhelia was analog.
And when it is not in games it'd be in the extended desktop mode in windows.
Is this possible?
