I have 3 (sort of) monitors running off 2 video cards, an ancient voodoo3 and a nvidia geforce fx, the 3rd monitor being a tv on the geforce.
after i installed Ultramon, whenever my pc tries to resume from standby, the primary moniter flickers on, shows the mouse curser, then appears to freeze, i cannot move the mouse or press any keys. When resuming from standby and normal startup it works fine. I turnd off nview thinking that was the problem, but it did not fix anything. I was wondering if it was some sort of bug or a setting I cant find.

UltraMon should work fine with hibernation, not sure what causes the problem. For further troubleshooting, you could try if removing the mirroring feature fixes the problem.
To do this, go to Add/Remove Programs, select UltraMon, click on Change, then deselect the mirroring feature on the Customization page. You need to reboot your system for the changes to take effect.

Ok, I tried it again and a report error message came up, which blamed my voodoo driver. I'll try and find a newer version and see if that helps.

Yea, it appears that the remaining 3dfx drivers aren't that good
