Trying to activate Norton's Unerase Wizard. Cursor changes to timer icon, but nothing is shown. Item appears in Task Manager, but "switch to" doesn't help.
Luckily I have PowerToys Alt-Tab viewer (which allows me to see small images instead of icons while pressing Alt-Tab - really recommended). I see something strange: There is an image of an Unerase Wizard open dialog box, which does not appear on the screen.
It took me time to understand that my computer somehow displays this dialog "out of the screen's visible area"?!?
This also happened with other applications.
The walkaround is to simply press enter (while in the alt-tab you see the image of the missing window). For some reason this causes a system (?) menu to appear with "move" and the cursor changes to the "move cursor". Then press the arrows and you see the dialog appearing on one of the monitors.
In at least one case the menu contained UltraMon's "move to other monitor", which worked.
