I recently (Oct 2004) purchased MaxiVista and it works great for my applications. I use a IBM laptop (Win2k) as the primary PC and a HP Vectra desktop running WinXP as secondary (connected to a 19" LCD screen). Occasionally the 2nd monitor disconnects itself but for my work it is a great help. I tend to use the 2nd monitor to 'park' documents or web pages that I want always available w/o having to bring them to the front. It's very handy and so much easier than adding video cards (which I couldn't do anyway with the laptop).
