Hi, I have an agp nvidia 5200fx video card with dual inputs in the back one vga and one dvi. Does this mean I can use to monitors that act as one desktop, or will it display the same thing on both monitors, or it is just an option to use one or the other only. thanks

Yes you can use both those plugs at the same time to run a dual monitor system.

You can use one VGA and one DVI or if you get a DVI to VGA adapter you can run two VGA monitors which will act as one big desktop.

Hope that helps

currently running a GF3Ti200 (AGP) and
an ATI Rage (PCI)

My GF3Ti200 has the VGA and DVI outputs.

If I add another monitor to DVI slot...
will this effect the performance of my
GF3 card? or not?

As I understand it, the GF3's will only support one monitor at a time. Only some GF2's and most GF4's support dual monitors. I think I saw it in the FAQ here, or at NVidia, or someplace like that.
