It might. It depends on the card and the OS. An old 2.Meg card might be okay for static 2D apps (no 3D games, or fast 2D). With only 2.Meg, you will be limited to at most 1024x768@16.bit color or 800x600@24.bit color.

FYI: Those aren't exact limits, but are the limits using standard resolutions. To determine if a setting will work, just make sure it fits in 2.Meg Bytes.
Example1: 1024x768@16.Bit color = 1024 x 768 x 2 (2 Bytes = 16 Bits) = just under 1.6Meg = Okay
Example2: 1024x768@24.bit color = 1024 x 768 x 3 (bytes) = almost 2.4 Gig = Won't work
You could probably use a slightly higher resolution that 1024x768 at 16.bit color, but the next "standard" size up is 1280x1024, which is out, unless you want to go with 8.bit color, which isn't too useful. There are a few oddball in-between sizes you could use.

Thx guy i have no idea what the card is unfortunatly [may be an old Trident], it's PCI and [unfortunatly] i am running windows ME. To solve the OS problem if you know a reputable hitman that would be willing to put me out of my misery, just say so ;)
thx
