I have two monitors.

Sony E400 (CRT)
NEC 1855 (LCD)

I am using a Sapphire Radeon 9700 pro card.
Formally I was connecting both monitors via a analogue cables (And all was well).

However I just bought a Digital DVI cable for the LCD screen.
This has improved the image however I now have a problem.

Formally Windows 2000 (Pro) identified the CRT monitor as monitor 1
and the LCD as 2 (in the display settings).

Now the numbers have been reversed.

So when I start games like Medal of Honor they now appear on the LCD, which isn’t what I want (I get a higher refresh rate on the CRT).

I can fix this by making the CRT the primary monitor, however the Gamma control in the game affects the wrong monitor (It changes the LCD).

I am pretty sure that if I can make windows assign the CRT monitor as number 1 the problem will be fixed (as this was how it was before).

How do I do this?

TIA,
David

PS I Did not move the CRT connection, it has always been in the analogue connection I just replaced the connection to the LCD with a DVI cable.

Forget the previous post.

I updated to the latest catylst driver and the option is there.

All is fine again.
