When I try to load two video cards (one AGP one PCI) in my Windows 98 system, the PCI always goes first. Supermicro says this has to do with the load order because of the BIOS. The BIOS maker (AMIBIOS I think) says there is nothing they can or will do about this. Anyone have any ideas as to what I can do? I REALLY need to run dual monitors, but have to have my AGP be my primary adapter (Isn't that the point of the $300+ gaming card?)
I have a Sony GDM-FW900 and a Sony F500R. I currently run 1600x1200 on my F500R. I want to run 1920x1200 on the wide aspect ratio FW900 and 1600x1200 on the normal aspect ratio F500R. If from what I heard games and opengl and directx and such can only be run on the primary adapter, I would like the F500R to be the primary adapter because of the normal aspect ratio.
Any help would be truly appreciated!

If AMI won't provide an updated BIOS which lets you choose AGP as primary, your only other option is upgrading to Windows 2000, which lets you set any card as primary from Display Properties.
