Ultramon already allows you to create/save multiple wallpaper setups for your monitors... what I would love is to have Ultramon be able to randomly cycle through those say... when the application is started, or maybe be able to set a time each day/week that it changes. It would be even more thrilling to me to be able to accomplish this by just pointing the application to a directy full of images to randomly use.
(If there is some way to accomplish this already in Ultramon or with another application please enlighten me! If this has already been brought up, sorry, I am new to the boards)
Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion, a wallpaper changer is being considered for UltraMon 3.

Presumably, the /load commandline option to "ultramondesktop" would allow a scheduled task to change the wallpaper. All you'd need would be a vbscript that would scan your "My Wallpapers" folder and choose the "next" one, or one at random, or whatever.

I have already written a script which does this, see this thread for details.

Windows already has a wallpaper randomizer built in (Windows 7 and 8 anyway.) I'm hoping something similar can be used with Ultramon.

There's no built-in support yet, but two user-created solutions are available, UMWP Autochanger and the UltraMon Wallpaper Auto Changer script.
