hi, i have 2 15" lcd's and would like to eventually have 4 in a large square configuration. the problem is these stands cost a fortune, almost more than the monitors themselves..i've seen crt arms for like $50 and since my lcd's only weigh about 4 lbs each i don't understand why they should cost so much. anyone know of something more affordable? thanks

Why not build your own by bolting together some square metal tubing, or even some wood 2x4's, or both. It doesn't even have to look too pretty since it will be behind the monitors. It just has to be stable and sturdy. You should be able to build something decent for well under $50.

best price i've found is 250 UK pounds (400$) so I think I'll leave it and have just arranged them on the desk!
For that price, I could buy a third TFT.....
