after detecting new monitor and adapter i restart rhe computer.Then i open control panel and click display icon and to the setting at display properties.BUT after i enable my new monitor and restart the computer the computer stop responding.So irestart the computer again but it still same.Please help me.
Here is another problem.Why one of my monitor showed different brightness?one look fine but the other one not bright as the other moniter even though i have change the color setting into 16 bit (i cant setting it into 24 bit because the new adapter not support it)

Don't know the solution to all the problems (maybe try some of the things people have suggested in other threads), but why are you going the whole way into control panel to get to display properties? Just right-click anywhere on the desktop, and select "Properties". At least that will save you a little time as you experiment.
