Is it possible to have a different background for each monitor in Windows XP? I'm working on something that would work a lot better if each monitor could have a different background image.
any thoughts would be helpful

I too would like this.
The best solution that I have come up with is to use www.samurize.com and load a background image in that. The image i make in PS first to be the right size.

If you have an Nvidia card, and are using recent drivers (4x.x or newer), that option is already available, and there are other ways to do it too.

You can do this with a tiled image, UltraMon, HTML wallpaper and Active Desktop, see the FAQ for details.
