Hi, I want to buy 2 thin monitors I think you call these monitors CRT monitors. I went to see how they work in the store, and the only thin monitor that I saw was a 17" LG, and there was a problem... I tried draging a window in the windows desktop and it was much slower then a regular monitor, and the text of the window was with some kinda shadow......
is it like that in all the monitors??
Your help is needed before I buy something bad..
Thanks Gil Amran

You mean LCD, and they are not all like that.

Guess you mean TFT-monitors ^^ [ TFT = thin film transitor = each pixel one transistor; CRT= Cathode ray tube ]
What you saw is the effect of the response time which is usually higher with an tft (~16ms and higher) in comparison to a CRT monitor (~5ms). This results in tearing or ghosting of the image contents. That's what you have to expect from a TFT monitor (more or less). By the way you also have ghosting with a CRT, also called afterglow. Just try to move a white cursor above black background and watch the trail :-)
