Before I started using two monitors, I was using Spector to record my screen - Even though they market it as snooping application, I find it a great help for software development (logging what happened during testing) and time management (why things didn't happen :-).
Spector doesn't record a desktop spanning two monitors - not even the newest version 5.0.
I tried SnagIt. SnagIt _DOES_ record the whole monitor-spanning desktop. However, it doesn't let me define the recorded color depth and the frame rate (a snapshot every 5 minutes is actually enough for my needs), so it's taking huge amounts of CPU and disk space.
Has anybody got such a setup working?
Thanks,
Avi
