Hi, I've got an issue with my mm setup.
I've got a ATi 9700pro hooked to my main monitor and a tv.
I also have a Matrox Millenium PCI card running my second monitor.
The problem is when I first install the matrox it is assigned device 3 (which is good - this means my opengl games can work on my main monitor)
However, after a reboot, the matrox get's reset as device 0 and none of my opengl games work (q3, cod and sof2) they all crash during initialisation.
The primary display is set to the ATi in the display properties. Although they are numbered: -
1 - Default Monitor on Matrox Millenium PCI
2 - Iiyama Visionmaster on Radeon 9700 Pro
3 - Default Monitor on Radeon 9700 Pro - Secondary
i want it as: -
1 - Iiyama Visionmaster on Radeon 9700 Pro
2 - Default Monitor on Radeon 9700 Pro - Secondary
3 - Default Monitor on Matrox Millenium PCI
I've tried: -
setting AGP to the init device in the bios - no difference.
disableing the bios on the Matrox - no difference.
do you have any other suggestions i could try?
don't know if this is a clue, but I can't get into the Advanced Display Properties for the Radeon - the whole PC locks up. If I remove the Matrox, everything is fine.
