The more I read and search the more confused I seem to get. I'm a newbie so whip me gently. I want to set up dual monitors and here's what I have:
an HP a257c with an Nvidia GeForce4 MX 440 AGP 8X card. (64 M DDR and a TV out, plus a VGA out.)
I have an HP f1703 flat panel monitor.
I want to hook up my View Sonic A70f perfect flat CRT monitor to acheive dual use.
The CPU came with a second VGA out on the back but it's capped and I'm told it was for the integrated graphics card which has been cut and won't work at all.
Where do I go from here?
Do I need just a PCI card with a VGA out? Which one? Where? How much? Do I need to chuck the GeForce 4 and get a card with dual VGA?
Should I accept the fact I will never be a geek no matter how hard I try?
Thanks everyone. I really wanna play with my graphics stuff with two monitors.

Either option should work fine. Any NVidia based card should work, and many other cards should work too. It's actually very easy, unless you want to play some 3D games across 2 monitors.
