Dual monitor setup, primary CRT, secondary LCD under Win2K
I was wondering if there was any way to blank the output for the LCD display, which would in turn make the backlight turn off. Uisng a screensaver, the video blanks but the backlight stays on. Since this msetup is in my bedroom, I'd prefer that the LCD backlight would turn off when the screensaver turns on, just like if the video cable was disconnected from the PC.

What if you use the monitor-off power save mode, instead of, or with a longer timeout than the screensaver?
