Im planning on setting up a 3 monitor system using this vid card to hook up 2 of the monitors. My 3rd card will by a MSI Ti 4600. Has anyone Used this card and/r heard about this card? Does anyone know if this even will work?
Thanks

oh and use 44.90 drivers or earlier

as 4520 to 56.72 are broken for multiple adaptors

you may be able to get away with useing newer drivers on the TI4600 but you wont on the pci secondary card thats for sure

i use a radeon 9800pro and a 5200pci

i have a 4200agp here i might test to see if you can use newer drivers on the primary card later
if i can be bothered

The card has 128 megs. Also seeing that a pci bus is 32 bit I dont think a 64bit mem bus really matters :-D. But thanks for the input people I apreciate it.

ofcourse it does

apg bus is 32bit as well

the 64bit memory bus cripples the card like no other

it makes 32bit colour un useable in duel display mode

whereas the 128bit card does duel 32bit just fine

Shonk, just wanted you to know that you're my hero of the day.

Man, I was really getting frustrated by all kind of weird problems trying to install a GF5200 PCI as second card. Already wrote ATI Support about it. But installing an older driver before 44.90 did the trick.

Also sent them a real solution since they only sent me some FAQ's (hooray). The only thing I want to do is write the guys at nVidia a mail so the rare people using this combination can install the latest drivers again.

Again, thanks a lot!!

just a note i have finally found out what the problem is with ati cards and nvidia's mixed in the same system

after extensive talking to nvidia hardware guys
it turns out its the ati catalysts disableing
the nvidia cards

i wrote ati about this and explained that only drivers earlier than 44.90 on nvidia are working now

and it seems ati replied in kind as 44.90 nvidia drivers and the new catalyst 4.6 and 4.7 drivers no longer work together

so there you go its ati playing the bad guy here

advice is to
use catalyst 4.5 and 44.90 nvidia drivers

or use

latest nvidia drivers and windows update december 2003 ati drivers (as they dont disable nvidia cards)

tut tut ati

Thanks for the info. We need to convince these companies to maintain interoperability among brands.
