I've got an ATI card on a laptop, which has an s-video TV out. the TV works fine when connecting with an s-video cable to the TV, but when using a svideo->RCA adapter, it doesn't detect the TV at all.
when connecting the svideo cable to the tv, and then taking it out, and putting back in the rca adapter, the TV out works ok..
my question is, how do i force the tv output for the card ? (so it'll work with the RCA adapter without the need of "tricking" it (which is possible only if i have a TV with svideo around anyhow.. - which makes RCA useless in that case))
