hi there is one minor annoyance with windows 2000
multi monitor i have 2 graphics cards that both do different 16 bit modes
Nvidia TnT 2 Ultra 16bit (565 mode)
Nvidia Riva 128 16bit (555 mode) (realy 15bit)
anyway windows 2000 gets confused and does all icons in 256 colour
now so far i have come up with 2 fixes
either use 32bit (not an option 32bit riva 128 laggs a bit playing movies)
or goto 32bit refresh icon cache and then change back to 16bit
so i get to keep some icons in high colour
neither are good solutions
anyone know of a better way to fix this?
btw
Windows Whister and Windows ME dont suffer this problem
so its a bug
