Hi all,
i have an Geforce MX 400 on my agp. now i want to use a second screen. i've put a s3 trio 32/64 in a pci slot. When i start-up my pc my second monitor shows the window logo,my primary sreen is black. After that my second screen is black and my primary screen shows my desktop.When i watch my hardware i see that the s3trio has code 12

Make the PCI card primary in CMOS (BIOS) Setup. The combo should work after that.

the only thing about videocards i found in my bios was "init displ first". and that was pci.

Interesting. I'm not sure how to fix that. Maybe try a general cleanup and update like I've posted somewhere in this forum before.
