Anybody with a Matasonic Mobo that has the sme problem i have... 2 cards,
1. AGP - NVidia TNT Vanta LT 16 mb
or S3 Virge 3D/2D - 4mb
2. PCI - S3 Trio (forgot chipset) or S3 Virge DX and
Only card that work is whatever is set primary in bios AGP or PCI, old or new. prmary in bios works in XP Professional sp1 but second card AGP or
PCI will not work comes up (code 10) cannot start, blah blah blah you hear that error alot in here. just curious
ive tried everything i can think of to get it to install right but no go tried it on older pc with all the same cards and it works on there but to slow for me to use that as my main pc. ust wonderin if anybody had the same mobo

Second pc is under 98 SE and my last resort on big boy puter is to downgrade to win98 se to see if it works there

I've used an NVidia TNT 32 mb card as a secondary in Windows 2000, so your TNT should work as a secondary in XP. All the other cards you mention have to be primary in Win2K/XP.

I believe, the Virge is not supported officially in a multimon setup under XP. I had a similar problem a long time when I upgraded from 98SE to XP Pro.
