I've just got a laptop running windows xp and have hooked up a spare monitor. Is there anyway I can view two different web pages in each monitor? I've dragged the explorer icon to the spare monitor but when I open it, it opens up on the primary (laptop) monitor! How do I actually get to open up files/web pages on my secondary monitor? If anyone could give me a simple run through on how to do this I would be most grateful.

Very easy: Open two browser windows, and drag one to your second monitor.
You'll have to have the window you want to move in windowed mode, instead of full-screen mode to drag it. Once the window is on the second monitor, you might be able to go back to full-screen on that monitor - it works with some apps, but some only go full-screen to the primary monitor. You can always leave it in windowed mode, and resize it to whatever size you like.
