hello!

i want to install a system with 2 monitors in win2000. i have a computer with a biostar M7VIQ motherboard. there is a "s3 graphics prosavage DDR" graphiccard onboard.
now i installed a NDivia Riva TNT2 at the AGP slot.

if i start the computer now, the onboard card does not showed any more, i think it is deactivatet by bios automatically, the computer works with the AGP card.

where and how can i tell the pc that i want BOTH graphiccards.

can you help me???

thanks, michael

They most likely won't work together. You could probably use a PCI video card with either the onboard or the AGP card if you want dual monitors, or get an AGP card with dual outputs, which is very common these days.

I have the same problem when with my on-board S3 ProSavage when dealing with an ATI Raedon 7000 AV w/TVO. aparently the S3 PS DDR On-Board graphics doesn't like sharing a system with another card. So, I'm stuck with the solo ATI.
I can hook up another moniter to the ATI card, but it's slightly pointless 'cuz both display the same thing.

it's quite frustrating.
