I have an annoying problem with my secondary monitor flashing several times when Windows 2000 Pro boots up. I've got a NVIDIA GeforceFX5200 Ultra video card, and am running two monitors through dualview. It flashes once with the loading Windows screen, which is normal I guess from just detecting that it's there, but then it flashes 4-5 times once the background shows up but before the OS is finished loading. The primary monitor stays steady throughout.
This isn't a multimon problem, but I thought someone here might be able to help me fix this or tell me if it's just how it is. Another wierd thing is that I've got 6 default monitors shown in the Device Manager, aside from the two that I've assigned drivers to.
