Hello,
Would anyone recommend the Matrox QID quad video card for general purpose computing?

I was considering the Matrox Parhelia for
triple head use, but noticed the many
complaints posted on this forum. Thanks
for any input.

the QID is a rathe pricey alternative. if you have a free pci and an agp slot, i would go w/2 g450/550 cards (agp and pci) which wuld give you up to 4 displays. it would cost about half of what you'd pay for the QID.
i wouldn't reccommend the Parhelia either for 3 displays. frankly, while i really like maxtrox cards, the way they decided to support triple-head on this model is very disappointing (to put it mildly)!
