I read that people have 4 monitors running on a dual head video card. How do they set that up?

I've never heard that, but I suppose you could use a couple of VGA splitters if you want each pair of monitors to display the exact same image.

Jim,

Although they're referred to a "dual head" cards, both Colorgraphic and Matrox have cards that support 4 monitors per card and Colorgraphioc has one that does up to 8 on one card. Read more here:

Colorgraphic GT 8
Colorgraphic GT 4
Matrox G200 Series

While these cards only have two physical outputs, they have special cables that allow you to connect additional monitors.
