Not sure what you mean, UltraMon has a 30-day trial period.
You don't need to enter a registration code during setup, this is optional.

Hey I've got an idea, howabout you read the screen? I've just installed the trial and right by the serial numbers full of 0s is some text that says not required for trial or something as unsubtle as that.
