I would assume this is a bug however it is too rudimentary for someone to not already have caught it - now I assume its something with my system configuration...
When I maximize a program in my second monitor, it goes below the taskbar at the bottom (with the smartbar). In-other-words, instead of resizing to the maximum screen height - height of the taskbar, it resizes to the maximum screen height. I noticed this because I rely heavily on the status bar at the bottom of the application I'm maximizing.
Thanks!

Make sure that the UltraMon taskbar is set to be always on top, to do this right-click a free area on the taskbar, and check 'Always on Top'.

I have both "always on top" and "lock taskbar" clicked and I still have this problem. Just noticed it again today with another program (Orcad).

Please post the system information from the About dialog (UltraMon menu > About), and also let me know on which monitors you have the UltraMon and Windows taskbars.

I have the same issue, I have a Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop with the GeForce2 GO w/ the 56.72 drivers (not from Dell). If I have the NVIDIA desktop manager enabled, any window that opens maximized on the second monitor does so with the window shifted down and under the smart task bar, If I disable (and why I had it enabled in the first place is beyond me, I like UltraMon sooo much better) the windows display correctly... hope that helps

Thanks for the information. Might be an issue with the older drivers, I haven't noticed this problem with the 61.77 drivers.
