I have been experiencing problems when maximising windows on my 2nd (primary) monitor - when the taskbar is locked, windows will maximise horizontally but stop halfway down the screen. when the task bar is unlocked they will then maximise fully. Has this been reported previously and is there a fix to it apart from having task bars unlocked?
I have also noticed the MSN Messenger conversation windows will corrupt when sent to the other monitor. the window area that dialogue is displayed in is reduced each time it is sent to the other window, replaced with a section of grey toolbar background. Again, has anyone else had these problems?
I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2 (but problems have been since SP1) and Omega drivers based on the latest ATI Catalyst drivers (Radeon 9800 Pro).
Thanks for your help Dan

I'm not aware of any issues with locked taskbars and maximized windows, works fine for me on XP SP2 with UltraMon 2.5.
Maybe it's related to your specific display configuration, please send me the information from the About dialog (can be accessed via UltraMon menu > About), and let me know where the UltraMon and Windows taskbar are located (monitor and screen edge).
Regarding MSN Messenger: to prevent UltraMon from resizing Windows when moving them, go to UltraMon Options > General and select 'to fit' as the resize mode.
BTW, I haven't noticed this issue with the latest version of MSN Messenger, 6.2.
