Hi. I want to set up a system that runs 6 monitors. I have 1 x Matrox Parhelia 128Mb AGP Card and 1 x Matrox Parhelia 256Mb PCI card, both with dual heads. Each card takes 3 monitors using supplied cables and connectors. I am looking at purchasing Ultramon on the advise of friends and want to know whether Ultramon will allow me to have an independent display on each monitor. I want to be able to display a different monthly calander on each display. Any help would be appreciated.

UltraMon does not support the triplehead mode of the Parhelia.

You might still be able to run a different calendar on each monitor, but it depends on the application.

The problem with triplehead mode is that applications recognize all monitors as a single large monitor instead of 3 independent monitors.

Get another PCI card, and you can have 6 monitors any way you like.

Thanks for the help. I'll get another PCI card and see how it goes.
