Forums -> Multiple monitors -> Refresh ratio on the secondary monitor seems lower than should be

Hello guys,
I'm using a dual-monitor set-up.
Card 1 - Primary - AGP ASUS ATI Radeon 9200SE
Card 2 - PCI ATI Radeon 7500

Monitor 1 - 17'' Dell LCD
Monitor 2 - 17'' Compaq V75

Windows XP SP1

Everything works fine and was setup fine. The only problem is that I belive that secondary monitor (2) is refreshing very slowly, like it's set on 60 Hz (it's set on 85 Hz). It seems unusually slow, even though the (2) monitor worked fine before. I tried reinstalling drivers, but it didn't help. The second monitor really hurts my eyes to the degree I'm not benefiting from dual setup, I just turn it off. Can you advice any solution?

Thank you

Andy

Sounds like you might have it in 85hz interlaced mode. See if there is also an 85hz non-interlaced mode. Or change to 75hz non-interlaced if 85hz non-interlaced doesn't work.
