Hey there,
I have a Matrox G450 AGP dualhead card running two 17" monitors and I would like to add another monitor. I am thinking of picking up a cheap 2mb pci card to add a 15" monitor to the system...
But somebody told me the G450 will be downgraded to the capacity of the 2mb card if I add it to the system? Can anyone verify if this is true? And if so, will I still be able to run my two 17" monitors at 1152 x 864?

The PCI card won't affect the capabilities of the AGP card.
I would recommend getting a recent PCI video card though, old cards usually need to be primary in BIOS, which can be an issue if you use DOS or OpenGL games.
