Hi,
Using ultramon, can I selectively turn off one monitor and leave the other running?

Yes, you can quickly disable the secondary monitor from the UltraMon menu (Disable Secondary).
If you only want to put the monitor on standby, without disabling it (the desktop remains extended to the monitor): this can't be done with UltraMon.
