I just bought UltraMon; its a great program. Here's the one thing (if I had to choose just one) that I'd like to see added: a graphical tool to select window (by title) and reposition it. Currently I use a command line program 'cmdOW', but its a real pain.

Here's why I'd like this: I use a notebook computer; when I'm in the office I connect to a second monitor (19") and run many of my programs on it, with the main notebook monitor used to display documentation files, etc.... However, I often work at night, or on the weekends outside of the office, without the second monitor; by using the UltraMon 'mirror' taskbar mode I can select top-level windows and move them to the main desktop if they open on the second monitor (I don't like to disable the second monitor as it tends to loose its settings). The problem is that may programs open up dialog boxes, which often are positioned for the second monitor (which at this point isn't there), and because these dialogs don't show up in the taskbar there is no way to move them back to the main monitor.

I know this is probably something that is really weird, but it really would make UltraMon a lot more useful to me.

Thanks for the suggestion, will be considered for UltraMon 3.

Did you already try using display profiles to enable/disable the secondary monitor? You can create a display profile via UltraMon menu > Display Profiles.

Hmm, I will have to get that a try. Thanks for the tip. I will see if it works for me.

The problem I have run into is that even some applications simply remember dialog box coordinates; and assign those without checking to see if it is in the currently viewable area.
