Hi,
Some people here might remember me from a way back. I was running the MMGW and then switched over to Apple's Macs. (And *never* regretted a second.) I was running an old G3 mac for awhile, but old habits die hard... After a couple of years I managed to get back to "acceptable working environment" :)
My Mac
Specs:
Dual 1GHz G4, 1Gb RAM 2x 80Gb HDDs RAID-1 3x Nokia 446Pro 19" Flatface CRTs Radeon 9800Pro Mac AGP (2x 1600x1200x32) Radeon (origina) Mac PCI (1x1600x1200x32)
I got the system with a GF4MX card installed. The installation of above hardware went like this:
1) Power off 2) pull out the GF 3) put in the Radeons 4) Power on 5) use
No driver installations. no reboots, no problems, no frustration, just start doing things.
couple the 4800x1200 desktop to Apple's Expose, and you practically have no limit of what you can fit on the desktop.
Nothing important, just had to tell you guys what I'm up to currently :P
