I have Windows XP Pro, G Force 4 MX 4000 128 mb AGP, G Force 2 MX 400 PCI.

I am having difficulties getting the 2 video cards to work.

I first install AGP card and it's drivers, restart to load drivers. Shut down.

Install PCI card and it's drivers, restart - that's when problems begin...

Any ideas on how to install, on a step by step basis?

Thanx, Ronaldo

You do NOT need to re-install Detonator/Forceware drivers for the second card. It should be detected automatically. Both cards use the SAME driver number. Get over to nVidia & get the 66.93s.

Remove PCI card. Boot. Install 66.93s. SHutdown. Install PCI card. Reboot. Windows should detect & install by itself & then run the nView Wizrd...

I agree. Installing the old drivers is probably what is causing the problem. The new drivers that came with the new card, or from the NVidia site is all you should install.

Mike and Eric,

I did what you suggested, but Windows recognizes G Force 2 PCI, it stars to install, and my AGP shuts down.....I have to boot.

Also, I dont know waht you mean by Nview Wzrd, it never shows.

When I didnt have 66.93 drivers, only wizrd I saw was Windows' wizard.

I dont know where the conflict could be...

Thanx,
Ronaldo
