Hi -
I have a Dell Precision M60 w/ docking station. I only use multiple monitors when docked. My problem is that sometimes, when I have been working undocked, and then restart docked, the second display is no longer enabled as a separate desktop, like it was when previously docked. Usually the secondard display is a clone of the laptop LCD. I also have ultra mon installed.
(I have separate hardware profiles setup I thought should take care of this, but it doesn't. Also, I always do a complete shutdown when docking/undocking.)
Can anyone explain to me why I may be experiencing this problem, and if there is a work around? My situation is also happening to someone I do work with. He has a similar hardware setup.
