Ok, I don't really know anything about multiple monitor support or anything but I thought it might be cool. I have a nVIDIA Geforce4 MX 420 card. What do I need to do to get 2 monitors?

Two monitors would be a good place to start.
Assuming your card has two outputs and you have the relevant cables that is about it.
Power down. Hook up 2nd monitor. Reboot. Windows detects it and then the nView wizard does the rest...

Well, I have two monitors, but my card only has one computer monitor output and one tv output. There's no way I could get some kind of a splitter cable or something?

Then, you need a second video card, or a dual-out video card. There are no splitters that will allow for 2 separate (non-mirrored) displays. Or you could hook a TV to the second output, and have a low-resolution display, which might be fine for playing videos, or something like that.
