My wife has a problem with trying to capture images with paint shop pro on the monitor that is NOT the primary monitor.
As a default, some programs will only operate on the primary monitor, even though you can move that programs window to the secondary monitor.
My wife has one program open, and it's window is spread open across both monitors, and shrinking it down to fit on one monitor scrunches all teh data too small to be seen...
Does Ultramon make all the monitors act as one primary monitor... will it help with this problem....
I will download teh trial after the 1st of the year... but would like to know if I might be wasting my time...
Thanks

UltraMon can't combine the monitors into one primary monitor, this is possible with some dualhead video cards though, look for a setting to enable span or stretch mode. Please note that UltraMon is not compatible with span/stretch mode.
UltraMon can help with opening applications on specific monitors, see application positioning for more on this feature.
If the application can't be resized properly, try if disabling the secondary monitor before starting the application fixes the problem. This can also be automated with UltraMon.
To take screenshots from secondary monitors, you'll need to get a capture application with multi-monitor support, or use the PRINTSCREEN key to take a screenshot of the whole desktop (you can then paste the screenshot into an image editing program). Use ALT+PRINTSCREEN to take a screenshot of the active window.

Yea, the problem is that her one window takes up Both Large Monitors....
(maybe the alt+print screen will work to take a screen shot of the sub-windows in the primary window...) will give that a try..
I'll probably give the 30 trial a trial and see what I think...
Thanks..

I have registered about 5 copies of SnagIt over the years. It's a great multimonitor-friendly capture and editing tool. From TechSmith.
No affiliation, just a satisfied user since Win98 was brand new.
