hu guys,
i'm using an ati radeon 9600 dual dvi with two sony s74 monitors and an pinnacle video card. i downloaded the ultramon tool and i'm very satiesfied, because now i switched the primary monitor to the former second (now primary on my right side), so i can watch tv on the right side and do my work on the left.
my question: witch advantage has the primary monitor- is there one? like better perfomance for photoshop or something like this or is there no big advantage of working on the primary monitor?

Some applications, for example games, will only run on the primary monitor, but this is more a limitation of the application than any specific advantage of the primary monitor.
For multi-monitor aware applications, it shouldn't matter whether they're running on the primary or a secondary monitor.
