I want to go with two monitors and use only one video card, but I'm having problems deciding on which card to use. I need good 2D. The computer is used mostly for coding and internet surfing. Some light RPG and RTS gaming is done on it too. So far, my choices are Matrox's newest, a GeForce2 MX, or a Radeon VE. I'm leaning towards the Radeon. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I use the Radeon VE. It is faster than the Matrox and slower than the Nvidia.

I wish I could tell you which one to buy but have a look at the reviews on
www.tomshardware.com and www.anandtech.com

The Radeon is the newest and it is already rock solid. I haven't had a lockup in two weeks with W2K and the video is solid.
