I run 2 monitors (1 laptop screen, 1 video projector). When I switch from using powerpoint to showing a video with windows media player the projector changes to a blue screen that reads "Auto in Progress" then begins playing the video at full screen. The laptop displays the windows media player view. This is great, but is there a way of doing this WITHOUT showing the blue screen? Thanks a bunch!

You would have to set Windows Media to use the same resolution as the powerpoint presentation for the projector output, otherwise, that is going to happen when the monitor has to readjust to the changing resolution.
Apart from that, you'll have to check the docs for the projector.
