Is'nt there some piece of software out there in the deep and wide internet ocean that allows you to switch your mouse pointer between screens irrespective which application you're in atm??

Ultramon lets you do that. It's one of the options udner hotkeys. You can make it move to the next display with a hotkey if you set it.

I'm not entirely sure that works if you're in say, a game and want to switch to the second screen.
Can someone confirm this?
