Hello, I have UltraMon installed on a dual Monitor system, WinXP Home. Everything worked fine yesterday. However, the trial expired today. Now, my computer will NOT start up. It goes so far then does a complete reboot. It will not boo in safe mode either. It seems to load the ACPI driver fine, then whatever driver (or whatever that driver is "chained to" ) causes the computer to do a cold reboot. I tried changing the bios date back one day, which did not help. I have tried multiple "safe mode" configurations.
Booting from XP CD is fine. I went into repair mode and disabled the UltraMonUtilityService. It makes no difference.
I did not install any hardware or software yesterday. My virus software is up to date. My network connection is before a NAT hub. My 'C' drive has 7GB free space.
Computer: AMD64, WinXP Home, reasonable current on OS updates, 1 GB RAM, K8N Neo Platinum motherboard, ATI Radeon 9600SE Video with 128MB DDR.
The ONLY thing that has changed is that the UltraMon trial expired today. Honestly, I was just expecting a nag screen or popup today .
Please help Thanks GS

It's very unlikely that this is related to UltraMon, if the trial has expired you'll get a message and UltraMon will exit, but apart from that nothing else should happen.
Turning back the system clock would re-enable UltraMon, and booting in safe mode would disable UltraMon and the drivers installed by UltraMon, so this should still work fine even if there was a problem with an UltraMon component.
