Hi,
When standing by the computer instead of turning it off Umon completely messes up when relogging after many hours: change device orders, dissapear wallpapers (once it even deleted all my wallpapers from disk!! :-(), etc ...
Anyone having this issues??
Best regards

Seems unlikely that this would be related to UltraMon, my guess would be that this is caused by something else.
If you close UltraMon before going on standby, do you have the same issues after resuming the system?

Hi!
Foresure not. It always has been hard to awake this machine from stand by, but never had problems like these with Umon.
Best regards.

Unfortunately I have no idea what would cause this, I've never had problems with UltraMon and resuming from standby or hibernation.
BTW, what operating system are you using?

Hi!
XP Pro. Main display: TFT 1024x768@60Hz Secondary display: CRT 1280x1024@75Hz
Yesterday I had the problem again: In detail, when resuming the unit next day, only second display was running but with refresh rate and wallpaper from main.
Saved personalized display is unable to restore it, so I have to invert manually display order, restore refresh rates and wallpapers...a lot of work when U only want to quickly resume work from previous day ....
It only happens when I leave the computer in stand by for a long time (say 8 hours)and not for 5 -10 minutes as I tried right now.
Hope this can help.

i don't use standy...i do use hibernation and never had a problem (both on w2k and xp).
do you have fast-user switching enabled?
one way to verify if ultramon is causing all this is to uninstall the program completely and use the computer normally for several weeks. be sure that you don't change anything and be make sure you leave whatever multi-monitor settings you currently have alone.
