Hi ..
This subject may have already discussed before but i haven't found it ..
Tha fact are .. i have a notebook with radeon mobility 9700 128Mo and a wxga screen who can do 1280x800 .. and a vga output where i have plugged a 1280x1024 crt monitor ... It work well under windows XP and linux .. but i don't want XP i love 2000 but someone have said to me it is impossible to use multi monitor in 2000 with my configuration ... Can someone tell me if i'me wrong ?? and does ultramon can resolve this problem ??

what brand is the laptop? you need a custom video driver written specifically for w2k...check the vendor website.

Erff .. no way it is targa (hardware is good but support is .. inexistant ^^) .. blah i will install linux i've seen it it works :p

well if you feel bold enough, you could search ati's site for the generic driver set for a w2k version. the odds are long but you have nothing to lose at this point...
