When I attempt to use my Geforce 256 (AGP) as my Primary and ATI AIW 128 (PCI) as my secondary the system tends to lock up at boot up right after the secondary monitor says "If you see this message than windows has sucessfully...." and then both screens go black.
However, If I choose my PCI card (initial display in BIOS) to be Primary and my Geforce as secondary it boots without a problem.
Now, I did do a trick to make it work but next time you reboot you end up with the same problem again. What I did was remove my ATI card from the Device Manager in Safemode. I then rebooted into normal mode. WinME found the new device (ATI-PCI Card) and installed the drivers for it. I then go into Setup and chose it to extend my desktop and it worked. My Geforce was now Primary and ATI was now Secondary. But, if you reboot, it does the blank screen thing and lock up.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
System Configuration:
AMD 850 MHz Athlon Thunderbird OS: Windows ME Memory: 192 MB Video Cards: AGP - Geforce 256 DDR (Creative Annihilator OEM) PCI - ATI All-In-Wonder 128
